In terms of costs, the annual maintenance fee is $525, with no foreign transaction fees and a variable APR of 21.99% to 28.99%.
The card offers rewards in the form of miles, including 80,000 bonus miles when spending $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months with the card. Here’s the point breakdown:
- 1x mile for every $1 spent on all purchases;
- 2x miles for every $1 spent on dining purchases, including deliveries;
- 2x miles for every $1 spent on travel purchases, such as airfare, rentals, taxis, cruises, and more;
- 4x miles for every $1 spent on United purchases, such as tickets, food, beverages, Wi-Fi, and upgrades.
The United Club offers free first and second checked bags for the cardholder and companions. Premier services include priority and expedited check-in and expedited boarding.
Additionally, it offers 25% back on premium drinks on United flights, with Premier upgrades, Avis President’s Club membership, and IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite status.
Who can Apply?
The card with premium benefits, as expected, also has more stringent conditions for approval.
It’s not necessarily required to be a customer of United or Chase since you can open an account precisely with the card application.
Otherwise, it’s entirely possible to apply for the card while already having relationships with the entities.
To be eligible for the card, you must be at least 18 years old (or 19 in certain states) with valid identification as a U.S.-born citizen or foreigner with a passport for residence.
Additionally, you’ll need to prove income, which for the United Club Infinite is quite high, particularly with some security.
Furthermore, there are no other major objections to applying for the Chase credit card.
